Julie Brown joined the Labarre Associates team in late 2005 bringing 20 years' executive-level financial management experience to the firm. A Certified Public Accountant, Brown is also a Certified Financial Manager and Certified Management Accountant.  She has served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Controller for several national firms prior to becoming a Labarre Associates principal.  Specific accomplishments include playing a key role in turning around a firm with millions in losses to positive cash flow and opening subsidiary offices in New York, Denver, London, and Berlin, including setting up office operations; hiring personnel; and developing accounting and operational structures, policies, processes, and procedures.  At Labarre Associates, Ms. Brown is responsible for finance and accounting, human resources, marketing, and performance management.  Ms. Brown was a basketball standout and a Dean's list student at The George Washington University.
